Located
in Northeast Georgia, Elberton sits near the center of Elbert
County, 33 miles east of Athens and 110 miles east of Atlanta. Elberton is a prosperous, growing community boasting an economy
as solid as they come - the Elberton Area's granite monument
production accounts for one-third of total production
nationwide. Elberton is also known for attractions
including granite monuments, historic homes and architecture,
beautiful lakes and, the 20,000 seat Granite Bowl, home of the
Elbert County Blue Devils.
