Historic Preservation Commission Created in 1985, this is the
City of Elberton's most active citizen board. This board has three
districts and a five member board rotating every four years. The main
focus of this commission is to preserve the history of our community.
The board deals with everything from where a mailbox is placed to what
type of materials may be used on a home. Personnel Review Board (Grievance Committee) This board has three community members with one, two, or three year terms. The board serves as an avenue for city employees to take personnel matters to a group outside of other city employees. If an employee feels he or she has been treated unfairly by another city employee, the matter may be taken to this committee for review. cchurney@cityofelberton.net Members: Barbara Hammond, Terry Burton, Sara Kantala
