It is always a
pleasure for me to welcome folks to our web site for a tour of our
beautiful city. As Mayor, I take great pride in many events we have
going on in our community.
The Elbert Theatre
is one of the major assets of Elberton. Many events take place
during the year including the Elbert Theatre Foundation’s seasonal
productions. The Downtown Development Authority and the Chamber of
Commerce work closely together to bring events to our downtown area
such as the Granite City Fall Festival and Classic Car Show as well
as concerts on the square.
The walking trail
and park is being used by hundreds of people every week and is also
used for concerts. We are constantly trying to improve our city as
we work together with the county and the Development Authority to
bring quality industry to our community. These are just a few things
we have going on in Elberton. Please take the time to click on the
different links and you will agree Elberton is definitely the jewel
in Northeast Georgia.
